10/15/2020 (Frederick, MD) — Electrical Test Instruments, D/B/A ETI Precision (ETI), a leader in the calibration, repair, and sale of test and measurement equipment, today announced their move into new headquarters located in Frederick, Maryland.
The 15,600-square-foot facility located in Frederick’s Riverside Technology Park is significantly larger than the company’s previous 9,400-square-foot operations in New Windsor, MD. It features a specialized controlled environment for calibrations that are especially sensitive to environmental factors as well as several safety enhancements. It is the first relocation of the company’s main office in over a decade.
“The expansion accommodates our rapid growth over the past several years and supports our investment in ETI’s people and technical capabilities,” says CEO Jonathan Blanchard. “Our new facility will enable us to better serve electrical testing companies, data centers, manufacturing facilities, and others nationwide.”
ETI’s customers and partners rely on the company for its primary injection high-current circuit breaker testers and onsite calibration services, which can be customized to fit a customer’s needs. Clients include Potomac Testing, Schneider Electric, and Protec Equipment Resources, among many others.
ETI also specializes in repairing breaker testers, relay test sets, insulation testers, transformer ratiometers, oil test sets, AC or DC hipot testers, and other electrical testing equipment.
Riverside Technology Park, where ETI is located, encompasses 57 acres across 11 buildings that incorporates green space and walking trails. The business park is also growing, having added four new buildings in 2019. ETI’s neighboring tenants in the park include Wells Fargo, National Cancer Institute, and Charles River Laboratories.
“Frederick is one of Maryland’s major metropolitan areas with convenient access to several interstate highways and two international airports (Dulles and BWI),” says Blanchard. “The city is also home to a military base and a thriving technology cluster that provides a deep talent pool for ETI’s continued growth.”
